Description

The listing, New Clean-N-Clear Headlight Restoration Kit has ended.

For auction is a headlight restoration kit by Clean-N-Clear I bought at the local automobile parts store and forgot about. I would keep it but I sold my car that had a headlight sun damage problem. I've had success with using this in the past so thought I would share on Listia.

The kit is new and never used. Included in the kit is a easy 3 step instructions manual, a restoration solution and applicator tube, two sealant applicator brushes, and three sheets of fine quality three different levels of grade sand paper.

These kits can be very expensive and even more expensive to take it somewhere like the dealership to have it fixed. Save time and do it yourself. See the links below to find out more about this product and how to apply.

As winter is coming you will rely on your headlights more during the season as it gets darker sooner. Take advantage so you can keep yourself safe by being able to see the road clearer and don't have spend a lot out of pocket.

my headlights are plastic not glass. will this work on plastic as well? does the package say? if so i am wondering should i still sand them. without reading the instructions i done know if they have to be sanded first. i am guessing so. never the less i am very interested. my headlights are in very poor condition.i have to use my bright lights at all times. any extra information of the package will be great especially the glass verses plastic headlights. thank you very much F&W

Lois, great question. I looked at the packaging and the sand paper that's included is a very fine grade of sand paper. It's not coarse like normal homedepot type sand paper.

It works for both plastic and glass headlights. On their website they say, "Plastic headlight lenses oxidize after the protective coating from the factory wears off. The key in restoring the lens is to remove the oxidized layer of plastic and replace the protective coating. The Clean-N-Clear kit is the fastest, most effective way to repair the damage to your headlights. Anyone can restore their headlights without any experience or special tools, using our easy to use kit."

There's also a video demonstration on their website: www.cncheadlight.com and reviews on Amazon.com that confirm being able to use the product on both types. I hope this information helps answer your question. Let me know if you any further. Always looking to help. Sounds like this product would come in handy. It will also help extend the life of your car's battery not having to use your brights.
