Description

The listing, *SMART TV HDMI ADAPTER* (bring the Internet to your TV!) [Simular to ROKU} has ended.

Smart TV HDMI Adapter
*Makes any hdmi TV into a Android SMART TV*
In original Box, lightly Used. *Can be gifted*
The only things this requires is that you have Wireless Internet and a TV with a HDMI imput. That's it!
**WHAT IS IT? It is a small adapter that you can plug into your hdmi slot on your TV that will turn your TV into a Internet based TV. Allowing you to do things like: Facebook , Netflix, Youtube, Google, twitter, play games, search the web, download apps (This runs through the amazon App store. However I read online that you can somehow get Google play on it as well.), check your emails, etc and much more! All from your Tv!
This Box includes the HMDI adapter (called the doogle), wireless mouse (Takes 2 AAA batteries, I'll see if I have any that work to include), HMDI Extension Cable, FULL SIZE USB extension cable, Micro USB to full size USB cable, AC/USB adapter, instructions.

** I've got 3 of these. One in the living room, in my bedroom, and the game room. We actually use our Wii, playstation and Xbox- so we don't really use these anymore. This one may have been used 1 or 2 times. So I figured maybe someone who doesn't have the gaming consoles, or a roku, or smart Tv can use this.

*makes any Hdtv an android Smart TV
* Processing Speed 1.5 GHz
*Operating System Powered by Google Android 4.1
* 4Gb Built in Flash Memory
*Supports 3D gaming accelerometer
*Built in wifi

I would suggest that @zhachary534 could just give you the GIN price, and then ask you not send him the device.

Lol well if your referring to me adding a GIN- GET IT NOW price, I already have. It's there.
If your referring to me just giving it to you, no credits or charge, well lol. I wish I had enough funds to be able to do that, but sorry. :(

This is like a Roku. You plug it in your hdmi input and you can download all kinds of app just like on your cell phone.. play games, watch movie, online.. it's very cool, I've had mines for 2 years and I love it.. simply fact because i can download apps like I have on my cell phones...

I actually still have the receipt, I'll have to look. But if I had to guess- I would say I purchased this this spring. It wasn't winter time and not yet fully summer, lol, I would guess I purchased it about April or may of this year. it's definitely not a year old yet.

Thanks. Only reason I asked was watched a YouTube review and it was for 2013. Looks like a neat device to turn your tv into a giant tablet. Awesome. May have to do the GIN soon. :-)

No problem! I don't know when the device was released or first came out. So if the review was from 2013- most likely that was when they first came out with it, bc many reviewers do so when a item is first released. -not always tho! But this particular device was purchased on 4/16/15

Instructions are Included but in My opinion are Awful. However, it's quite self explanatory. Plug the hdmi adaptor (toogle) into your HDTV plug on your TV. Plug the wireless mouse adaptor (which is snuggly plugged into the bottom of the mouse for storage - see pic for removing it) plug it into the HDMI ADAPTER on the end where it says CRAIG. OR you can use your own wireless or wired mouse. Turn your TV on, using the TV menu switch to the correct input. Let it load on. This will probably need to be updated the 1st time u plug it in, I had to do it when I first plugged it in. It will update itself if so. Once updated, you'll have to go into the settings and change the screen size to fit your Tv screen. Then you should connect it to your wifi and you should be good to go! Download the Amazon store and other apps, or use the browser to search online. This is okay as a device. It's No roku or chromecast, but simular to it. I've bought my grandfather and aunt both one and they love it. I personally prefer using my xbox. I will reset this before I ship.
I don't know much about it I've only used it a few times myself, But you can look online for info if you need to. I've included some info in the photos as well.

I noticed that the description says the USB port is only for "Input Devices", which traditionally means only keyboard and mouse. But I also noticed that a reviewer said (in another pic you uploaded) he intended to put a hub, an external USB drive, along with a Bluetooth adaptor on it. None of which I am very confident will work.

Do you know if he tried, and how it worked out for him?

Yes it only says keyboard & mouse on the box, but the person in the review did say they were going to try it. I'll check and see if they ever updated their review. I actually had that review screenshot from when I first purchased this, I seen how he said the wifi connection was awful and I saved it, along with a few others, in case my wifi did the same, then I would know what to do. Lol. I had another screenshot of a reviewer who said the same thing, that her wifi on the craig seemed low, so she actually took out the wireless mouse and plugged in a good old fashion wired mouse and her wifi was perfect. She said, altho she thought it was crazy- that the wireless mouse was somehow interfering with the wifi in the device. I actually thought that was the review I uploaded lol, figured maybe it could help if someone else had that problem. I didn't need to do that, but I didnt use it but once or twice.

No problem.. I don't understand when you put and item up, why people don't google it to find out more.. That's what I do all the time just to get more information.. Even when my kids come home with homework and ask me a question I don't know I quick to tell them google it.. Lol... Well good luck!! I'm also watching ur item because I might get it for my little Great Nieces..

Lol I agree, I depend on Google for so much, from finding a phone number, directions, a recipe, etc. Normally I can tell you a bunch about a item I list, but there are some things, like this for instance, that I really only know what the box says and what I've learned from using one a few times. So it's better if who ever is interested in bidding, they just do their own review search and find out if this is something that they may or may not be interested in.
