I know this may seem like a dumb question, but how do you insert this type of hoop? I've looked online how to but nothing came up pertaining to this particular type of nose hoop. Do you insert from inside the nose or outside and which side before the gem goes in first?

It actually depends on where you want the gem at most ppl want the gem by there actually pierced hole, and not by the nostril so you would actually put the longer end in first :) it all depends on where you want the gem at :)
