To be honest I don't think so but I'm not completely sure maybe you can get a sim card from a different service and try I'll do some research and get back to you

From what I have found so far I believe you have to get an unlocked sim card this site gives you instructions if I'm correct http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-83891/ just copy and paste it into your browser and check it out if this doesn't help let me know and I will do more research for you thanks and happy bidding
