Description

The listing, Crochet Hooks Size H/8 and I/9 has ended.

I had big dreams of becoming an expert crochet-er, however my first project was a huge blanket and I was quickly disillusioned. So I'm giving away the two remaining hooks that I have, H/8 (5.00MM) and I/9 (5.50MM).

Don't give up on learning crochet! Try getting someone to help you and start with something smaller like a dishcloth. Crocheting has been my passion for 30+ years and you can make anything if you just learn a couple of basic stitches. (But I can also relate since i gave up trying to learn to knit....)

I may have to try again one day! I know half the problem was the hugeness of the project I was trying to tackle :)

That's cool that you taught yourself. It does have a certain relaxing quality, but I think I'm too impatient, haha

Yes that would be my little monkey... he already has a diaper bag, changing pad, and wool diaper cover that I have crocheted in the past week and a half, he is going to be a cloth diaper baby which I am also making and looking forward to getting these to finish up some other things including the sling, and yes very relaxing sometimes; I have four other children already between 23 mons and 9 years so need something relaxing every once in a while lol...

I totally understand! Your little guy is going to be super well stocked. That is so neat that you're making the cloth diapers. I have a friend that's having her first baby soon and she's interested in cloth diapers; do you use any pattern to make yours?

The size of the project wouldn't help if it was something large like an afghan. Try something smaller next time, like a dishcloth.

lol you're right, I'll keep that in mind next time I'm feeling brave enough to try :)

I am using a pattern but it is one that I figured up and drew out myself after having no luck finding one I liked anywhere online for free.... having four other kids I am Mrs. Frugal lately lol... but have found one that would work for someone who just wants to try their hand at it or wants to make a couple. will email you the link so you can send to her if you would like.

Oh that would be awesome! Thank you so much :) I've been trying to get into the frugal lifestyle more lately as well. I think it's fun finding ways to save money too.
