I am auctioning away three seriously sweet one of a kind postcards showcasing original artwork from artists at Adult Swim. Adult Swim is an adult cartoon network that shares channel space with the Cartoon Network. You probably recognize its artists from Family Guy, Futurama, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Sealab 2021, and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Their artists are amazing and a little off in the head...in a good way.

I got these postcards from a friend who works at Adult Swim and only used some of them. The few that I used were such hits, though, that I thought I'd share a some of the ones I had left with my fellow Listians! This is a one-time opportunity everyone! You can't buy these exclusive cards in stores! This is authentic Adult Swim art!

The first card up for grabs, the vividly graphic one with "adult swim" written at the top, is untitled but the artwork is by Gary Panter.

The second card, the mostly black and white freeform print design on graph paper, is also untitled with artwork by Kevin Christy and Nick Weidenfeld.

The third card, the orange toned vision with a "mistreated" teddy bear, is titled, "DEADDY BEAR," and artwork is by Michael Cahill.

Adult Swim is really a superior network for being able to make programs that children enjoy but are still so incredibly edgy for adults to watch and laugh over. Take one look at these cards and you'll get an idea of why. These aren't sold in stores, folks. If this auction goes well, I might even share a few more cards that I have. Good luck everyone!

Never thought of that. I might have to try it. I love writing. I'm actually pen pals with people I went to writing workshops with in high school over summertimes.

Some of the Adult Swim postcards that I did use actually went to some of those friends. They loved 'em! One of my friends says she she still keeps it on her refrigerator as a classic talking piece during a party. : )

Check out Penpal Society on facebook. I am Dreena Maine over there. Glad to meet you fellow penpaler...... LOL BTW and I always try to find some little things to put in my letters as gifts. I send individual flavored teas and even some packages of lotion that I got off of Listia. Fun to get a little surprise..

Wow, I do the same thing! So do some of my friends. I buy a lot of cosmetics, so I get a lot of free samples and send those out a lot. The tea idea is a good one. I'll have to borrow that one from you. One friend just sent me a fossil from Flores in his last letter! That was definitely a first! : )
