Despite the age recommendation, this toy could certainly be used for babies 9 months and up if the parent builds the blocks, and then lets the baby stack and knock them down. What fun! The key to any toy safety depends most on the level of supervision.
For older ones, this is a terrific learning tool. You can teach your child the alphabet and numbers. Once they master those, you can even teach them to read small words, how to add and subtract.
