The sim card is built in with the battery. I used to have the same phone. I agree if you want to know more about this phone go to boostmobile.com and look at their phones for the incognito.

No, these phones have to be removed from the owners account in order to be activated so it does matter what the ESN is. If this phone is still attached to his account then it will not be able to be activated unless he removes it. Just had one of these and I had to get the previous owner to call and give Boost Mobile the PIN # to remove the phone before it could be activated. Do you still have the PIN number for this phone?
