mine supports up to 16 gigs :-) its a home built super gaming comp :-D but its old enough (bout 3 years or 4) that its takes this size ram stick, i got 6 slots on my motherboard and only using 2 so far i will watch this if i got nuff creds i will bid, ty, and sorry again i did have to ask cause when ram sticks start going bad they do read as less memory :-) it bites cause then you know ram is gonna go out lol

well this reads as 4 gigs also take into account your operating system and make sure it supports over 3 ggs

a better question when the ram is installed in a computer how much of that ram is actually recognized cause a ram stick can be partially bad and say its 2 gigs and then only read like 500 megs, (have had that happen sorry had to ask it)
