It was rather funny, actually. She insisted to me that she had a security clearance and her whole family was in law enforcement or the military. She could have gotten more credits if she posted a picture of the alleged "proof" she had that it was real, but of course she had none. Her feedback was 92%, but I rolled the dice and had to get Listia involved. I believe they should boot anybody with less than 95% feedback.

I don't think I would go that far, lol. There are circumstances where feedback can be beyond your control. I have won some very nice things from folks with less than perfect feedback. To me it depends on "why" they got a negative, sometimes they did not deserve it. There are so many variables and good people can fall victim to an unforeseen circumtance. I just cross my T's and dot my I's and make sure I give all information I can. I make sure I document each and every item, sell or win, that way I can prove any attempt of another to be dishonest. Feedback is a good tool, but it is not a fail safe, I learned that as well :)

Some people will try anything, sad really. If she does, I hope you report it. I understand some people may not know Jewelry and genuinely think the item they offered is real, but once you know it is not, don't try and list it again, that is dishonest. I hope she does not and maybe learned a lesson.....I try and see the good in people, lol and always hope that given a chance, they will do whats right in the end. I know, my Hubby says I am a Dreamer, lol.

Can't do that, there are Laws governing how precious metals can be shipped to other Countries, Canada imposes duties on precious metals and because of that, the USPS and other shipping entities require a specific type of shipping and the costs are very high. I know lots of people just stick it in an envelope and call it a gift, however that would be in violation of US law and I am not willing to take that risk.
