The listing, Hand Made Cat Quilt (Cross Stitched) has ended.

I had cross stitched this cat quilt, I just got cat pictures from where ever I could find them, and even made up some saying. like "I kissed a cat and I liked it" :). I entered my Cat Quilt in the Country Fair and it won. I don't mind placing the quilt with one of you, cause I made so many items and sold them on ebay. Now it's my turn to get credits for my work. This quilt will make any cat lover happy. it's a solid red backing. it has on the top a sleeve on the back for hanging. that had to be put on so I could enter it in the fair, so it's a ready to hang if you want to do that. or simply remove the sleeve. It was finished just in time for the fair so I never did get a chance to launder it. But I warn you that I'm not sure about that red backing. the size is 28"x37" not a big blanket size.

well, it's easy for me to do, cause I just stitch for relaxing and the item I usually sell. I crochet too. but only one project at a time :)

thanks. It took a lot of time to make but I don't have anyway to display it. so it would be stuck in a closet for the rest of my life :)

This is so great. Our guest bedroom is done up in cat stuff and this would be a perfect addition to the room.

I don't have cats, I had one in 1969 Husband hates cats but we had just gotten married and he let me have my way. But I only had him for 1/2 year, he liked the next door neighbor more and stayed with her. :). But cat patterns are easy to stitch up, lots of books on cats.

because I hurried and finished it to enter it into the faire so I never got to wash it with the red fabric, but I had so much fabric that when I did the backing, I don't remember that if I had already washed this fabric years ago perhaps. So that is why I say i'm not sure if it will bleed when washed.

This is a wonderful piece of work! Don't have enuf points to bid but curious how high it will go. I would have sold it before putting it here tho...if l could let it go to start with!!
