The listing, 14kt. Gold Herringbone Chain from Italy has ended.

This is a 14 kt. gold chain that jack got in Italy for my mom.
My mom had a very thin gold chain, we thought she'd like a thicker one! But in Classic Mary Beth fashion, she put the chain back in the box and said " I have a gold chain."
So there it sat, in case MB every needed it.
The chain is 16" long, my mom was very petite. I haven't worn a 16" chain since i was in my 20's. I'm hoping someone here can use it,, or has a relative.
The pretty red box makes it perfect for a Christmas gift!

what exactly is stamped on clasp? would this be gold plated over 925?

i put in a photo at the end to show that this chain was made in Italy and that it is 14 kt.gold.

No, it's 14 kt. Gold...says 14 kt and Italy. I know it's not plated because it was quite (very, for us) expensive. I tried to take a pic of the hallmark, i'll look for it. :o)

Hard to tell in pics but the chain looks more like a round snake chain, simular to a tube, herringbone in flat. Is this a flat chain or rounds chain? Is it hollow in the center or is it solid making it feel a little heavier. Hollow will feel rather light and you can just tell it is hollow inside. Thanks!
