I have this set of two vintage satin pillow covers. I'm not 100% about the age, I know they are older, they were my Grandmother's, and according to her they were purchased for her by her brother when he was enlisted in the navy and living overseas, which was in the 1950's. I know he was stationed in Japan, so I've always assumed that this is where they came from but in truth I have no idea and never really looked into it. I've had them for almost 20 years now, and I don't really know if I want to part with them but in that 20 years they were never once on a pillow or displayed in my home and they are rather nice so I thought maybe it was time to pass them down to someone who had a better use for them than I do. They are 20"x20" and are chocolate brown & ivory in color with flowers embroidered on them. In the back they have a zippered closure. The zipper looks like it says DUK, don't know if it means anything or not. Any questions feel free to ask. Thanks for looking.
