FREE: 6 Ounces Merino/Silk Top (80/20) Creamy White

This beautiful creamy white fibre fooled me at first glance. I thought I'd found another stash of Tussah Silk. But in handling it my fingers slid thru it too easily and upon closer examination it does not appear bleached (& it's too light for natural Tussah) and so
I've reached the semi-educated guess that this is a blend of Merino Wool tops and Cultured silk. It's positively BEAUTIFUL whatever it is!
This is among my many fibres I haven't looked at in awhile...most of which no longer have original packaging. So I'm making EDUCATED GUESSES on the fiber origin.
It will take me a few days to get to the post office as five of my eight children are still at home and of school age kids, I'm homeschooling the four youngest boys.
