Well, I just can't hold onto everything, can I? Our Mom passed away recently and there's just SO much of my grandmother's and great grandmothers that she held onto. My great grandmother was born in 1888 and my grandmother was born in 1908. Most of these things were made by them during their and my Mother, who was born in 1927, when she was a child.

The first piece is a lovely linen table scarf (as my great Gramma used to call it. Some now call them table runners or cloths :) It has a grapes & leaf design embroidered on both end and has crocheted trim that completely surrounds it. It measures 48" x 19".

The second is stamped and handpainted w/ a hand crocheted trim. It measures 39" x 14 1/2"

The third is hand embroidered and has a hand crocheted trim and meansure 40" x 14"
There is a small hole on the edge.

The fourth (greenish one) is hand ctoss stitched and machine trimmed and measures 37" x 13" and has a few age/water marks that will probable wash out :)

The fifth is on a cream colored linen and is embroidered w/ angora yarns and trimmed w/ a unique lace :)

these are vintage items and have been used over the years They have all the charm and character of a bygone era :)

This is the just a few of MANY of my VINTAGE LINEN AUCTIONS. I have 100's of pieces to offer in the future so tell your friends who might collect these items :) Give them as gifts, make your own craft projects (pillows,bears,purses, out of them, etc.

*****HINT**** People in nursing or assisted living facilities **LOVE** to get these as gifts. They bring back such sweet memories for them :) :)
