Very Old Antique or Vintage (age Unknown) Handcrafted Knife and Wooden Sheath with Mother of Pearl Inlays. Found at an Estate sale. All I could find out from the Lady of the house was it belonged to her Father who passed away in the 80's and he had it as long as She remembers He had been in the military so it could have been purchased anywhere. All hand made, there isn't a machine mark anywhere on the blade or the wood. The Sheath is two pieces of had carved wood held together by two leather strings, catgut or some kind of twigs braided loops very hard to tell. No nails or tacs. There is Mother of Pearl inlays but there are missing pieces, you can see areas where there was something there and they are empty. This would be an easy fix. The blade itself has line markings. A bit of rust towards the handle. It is stuck in the handle good. 8" total length, the blade is 5". Very cool Collector's Piece. Ships Free!
