Description

The listing, Women's Disney "Eeyore" watch w/faux-leather band has ended.

Here is my all time favorite Pooh character: Eeyore the Major Depressive. He has been put on some mood stabilizing medication over the last few years, I understand, as friends who know these things have seen him on the Disney Channel and other places with a smile on his old horse-face and kind words flowing out along with his feedbag breath. Uh, I think they've got Oscar the Grouch, into therapy too, and Cookie Monster is seeing a Nutritionist. Pooh, I think, is the one who should see a Nutitionist and maybe get into a Remedial Reading Class.

But the watch is a reminder of a simpler time, when it was okay to be a little blue, a little ornary or binge on sweet now and again.
Be moody all you like.....
but be in a good, healthy and fiesty mood when this auction draws to a close.
Like the Sarge says, "Let's be careful out there."

Despite what I said about Pooh and the others..... the truth is that Eeyore is my favorite, at least the old Eeyore. I heard that Disney has lightened his character up quite a bit, has him actually smiling, of all things. I like him because he basically teaches kids and others that it is alright to feel blue some of the time and how it sounds when you are down on yourself all the time. His character makes for a great conversation starter on a topic that has been taboo for a long time.

First of all, all the watches I have put up for bid are collectibles and, with care, will increase in value.
Now,as I stated at one of my other auctions for a Disney watch, the ones that are not currently running only require a new battery. I only replace batteries when I am going to wear a watch. Leaving a on-working battery watch in when the item is being stored for a length of time is not a good idea. This one has a non working battery in it, but is guarenteed to work when the battery is replaced, or you may return it and get your credits back. I pay for initial shipping, so I do not pay for return shipping. How's that for an answer? Does that work for you? If not, feel free to elaborate and I will try again.
