Description
The listing, 1800's Tintype Album has ended.
This is a little velvet book that held family photos. The binding has broken, so there are about 20 tintypes that i try to keep gathered by using the hitch. The tintypes are each in a paper sleave ~ one photo on each side. There's one photo that i think really looks like Lincoln, and another that reminds me of Grant. (This is the same book that did hold the photo of U.S. GRANT) But i make no claims whatsoever that these men are who they remind me of ~ there are no names on them.

Ahh, that's a Beautiful song! I love these things too...most of them were around me all the while; but some secrets lay deep ~ in the root cellar, the hayloft, barn, garden shed...oh dear, i'm sure there are treasures there still. But that's good...somethings need to be discovered by the new family. xxx
