New, came with a new case but I already had screen cover installed.

This is a clear protector, my favorite kind.

I have tried the “HD”, “matte" & other fancy varieties — they tend to be etched & actually take away from the built in dynamics of the actual screen as it was intended to be enjoyed. They also make the touch less responsive. I only use this kind now & maintain my sanity.

This Includes —
✦ Clear Plastic Screen Protector (you unseal surfaces right before you install)
✦ White “Smoothing Edge Tool”
✦ Micro Fiber Cleaning Cloth (about 3” x 2”)


No instructions, but it's pretty simple:

✺ Prepare ample space...
-- with pre-cleaned phone
-- new screen cover
-- edge tool
-- cleaning cloth
-- Have a good light source.
-- No fans, no dirt blowing around.
-- A stiff credit card is optional.

✺ You want to make absolutely sure your glass screen is free of lint, dust, & prints. The microfibre cloth is helpful —check that ALL SPECS ARE OFF THE SCREEN.

✺ Look under GOOD LIGHT before you put the screen down!

✺ Test run -- "lay over" the plastic screen (with its own covers still on) to get your bearings. How will you match the cutouts in the protector to your screen?

✺ WASH YOUR HANDS (keep them clean) before the installing phase (next steps).

✺ Re-check for CLEAN phone screen.

✺ Pull cover off screen cover & install — make sure to align edges, top cutouts & bottom home button cutout BEFORE pressing down.

✺ Take the edge tool & push over the new screen to remove any ridges or bubbles. (Optional credit card works well here.)


Store & re-use the cleaning cloth on your protected screen & the body of the phone in the future!
