The listing, CHP Vintage Medal has ended.

This is a vintage medal. I have not been able to find any information about it. It has CHP across the top, and on the bottom, it has A. O. U. W.
The ribbon is in a little bit of rough shape.
It weighs 47 grams. That is a 6 inch ruler next to it for size.

This is a medal for the Ancient Order of the United Workman, minted circa 1880. The Ancient Order of United Workmen (AOUW) was a fraternal organization in the United States and Canada, providing mutual social and financial support after the US Civil War. It was the first of the "fraternal benefit societies", organizations that would offer as well as sickness, accident, death and burial policies.
