As a teacher, I used this book to introduce journalling. It is written in the words of Amelia. My students loved it, and it gave them a great idea of what a journal might be. This book is in GUC with a few creases along the spine and a little bit of shelf wear. It is still in great shape to read to a child or for a child to read alone. I read it to third graders, but it could be read to first graders on up. Third graders had no problem reading it themselves.
