Just wondering if I could manage to get this up over my own thighs and behind, lol. I'm more of a Juniors XL, - WOMANS xl -- for the most part - are big on me.

No offense taken :) I believe I am a woman's xl. But the body shaper is a large not sure if it is a junior's large or woman's large. However you are about 30 pounds lighter than me so it might fit you way better. Hope this answer helps :)
