This is a fantastic book for the ARTIST in your life! The book is a soft cover, 151 pages, 288 illustrations, a wealth of information. The title is: AN ATLAS OF ANIMAL ANATOMY FOR ARTISTS by W. Ellenberger, H. Dittrich & H. Baum. The book measures 9 1/2" x 12". This is not your normal book for an artist. The illustrations are broken down into "PLATES" with each illustration in detailed form of identification in skeletal form naming all the muscles and full anatomy of the animals in the book. For the sake of accurate description, the cover has pulled away from the inside binding but is still attached. The new owner can choose to re-glue the binding. The book is in great shape otherwise. copyright 1949, 1956 by Dover Publications (which this is). Just wanted you to now how old the book is and that it truly is in great shape.
