The listing, Abalone Paua Oval pendant necklace has ended.

Hypnotic swirls and a luminous surface are the trademarks of abalone shells. This dreamy piece of vintage jewelry is crafted from a 1" x 1 1/4" shell with a decorative mounting. A previous owner of this piece has turned around the jump ring that connects the pendant to the 18" chain. It must have caused snagging...but of course, you can easily turn that fitting back to it's proper position if you choose. Hard case gift box is included.

thanks! no, I don't really know the materials - however it is not a precious metal. not gold. I think the value in this piece is from the shaped and polished abalone shell
