i did make a video on it so yes it does catch sound on it you can make a video and it will have sound it takes pictures but when i took pictures they where delayed and blurry but video recorder and sound recorder both work very well on the camera

looks just like that except i do not have to big white clip i had a duo pack and my parents had the clip but it can still slip on to your computer with out it
