Well,it could be for either...it fits me....and it also fits my 12 yr old daughter,it does have some kind of marking but,i can not really see it is super small,i really dont know if it is sterling silver or not....sorry....this was given to me as a gift but ,i dont like wearing bracelets!!!!!!
