This auction is for 1 Antiqued Bronze Tone RavenPendant Charm that can be worn on a cord or chain or used for jewelry making. It is made of “Antiqued Bronze Toned” Zinc alloy. Contains no Lead!!! It is a nicely sized at a 1and 1/4 inches tall from the top of its head to the bottom of its tail feathers. This is a classic Victorian representation of a Raven inspired by an Illustration for Edgar Allen Poe's famous poem, "The Raven"
With wings as black as night, the Raven is a messenger from another plane. When it appears to you, you are about to receive some type of Knowledge. Knowledge that will have special meaning to those who engage in the practice of Divination or the Mystical Arts.

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
`'Tis some visitor,' I muttered, `tapping at my chamber door -
Only this, and nothing more.'...

Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling,
By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore,
`Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou,' I said, `art sure no craven.
Ghastly grim and ancient raven wandering from the nightly shore -
Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night's Plutonian shore!'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'
