Here is a synopsis of the book. written by a friend...
.................. Seeds in the Wind is the true story of Russell Bud Rogers, who tells the story of his existence from adoption to marriage to writing his first manuscript. Rogers lived in California during World War II as an elementary school student, creating makeshift slings as an alternative to a B.B. gun. Rogers writes about the eccentricities of those who have entered his life, like King Louie, the Bay Area physicist and parking lot attendant. His first car cost just $25, a fact that hardly any member of a newer generation is able to boast. He writes of his experiences being drafted, becoming a father, and being the brother-in-law of Sonny Barger, the most famous biker of all time. Russell Rogers tells a story not only of a life and an experience, but also of a family, his seeds in the wind.
