The listing, Weird-looking vintage plastic baby doll (no clothes but removable shoes!) has ended.
Greetings! This is an auction for a 6" tall soft (squeezable) freaky-looking plastic molded (hollow) baby doll. Once upon on a time I believe that if you squeezed her she made a sound, but this doll is old and imperfect and is offered for the weirdness factor! I would not give this to a child to play with! Maybe an artist could find a use for it in an altered art piece!
Whatever clothes she wore are long gone, but her removable white plastic shoes remain! Her mouth has a hole, which is what makes me think she was supposed to make a sound. She has carrot-orange "hair" painted on and black freckles. On the back it says "Made in Hong Kong" underneath the hole. There is a little chunk of plastic worn away on one butt cheek! Some of the paint is worn away in small spots on the "hair."
This is not a collector's item but rather a well-preserved curiosity! In very nice shape for a toy from the 50s or 60s (my guess). From a pet-free, smoke-free home.
Happy bidding!
