THIS SAYS STAMPED 925 But recently somes had an auction they said their 925 was only plated so can you tell me for sure is it plated 925 or sterling silver thru and thru ,thank you,,,

There isn't any silver that is through and through, silver always has to be mixed with another Jewelers metal because it is too soft

i understand thats why the numbers some 925 some 999 but there still is some are plated some are not correct ? thats why asking are they plated or not plated please ?
