do these require batteries to run them or are they powered by a plug in cord, and yes all speakers will work on all types of PC's as long as they are PC and not Mac

yeah they all have plugs but some of the older speakers for PC's took batteries for power, others just hooked up and used the computers power which is what this sounds like and still others actually have that kinda plug you got PLUS a actual power cord.

but yes if this only has the ONE corde and theres no panel to open on either speaker to put batteries in them then yes they will definatly work on any computer or laptop, happy bidding all :-)

I have no idea about speakers. I have never heard that computer speakers use a battery. The 2nd picture is what you have for a plug.
