The listing, Pink Harness/Jacket -- Lulu Pink size M has ended.

This is a very soft, very warm jacket/harness in pink, by LuluPink, in size Medium. The dog in the picture is a Chihuahua weighing 7 pounds. It is way too big for him, but is tight on my friends dog which weighs 17 pounds. I would say this is a typical size medium, for dogs between 10 and 16 pounds. It is new, only worn once. It has velcro for a custom fit, and a plastic safety clip, as well as 2 D-rings to attach the leash. It is very comfy, "hugging" your dog while keeping her warm. (My Chihuahua (7 pounds) while technically a "toy" breed, cannot wear "toy" sized clothing. He is AKC, and is a typical size Chihuahua. He wears a size S. (actually somewhere between XS and S) My friend's dog is a Chorgi (half Chihuahua and half Corgi) and weighs 17 pounds. She wears a size Medium (but she is a little heavy) and this was her harness. (her "mommy" likes her clothing to fit loosly, and says this is too tight) I can measure the item if that would help anyone. Thanks for the comments.

FYI a chihuahua is a toy breed dog. A 17lb. dog is a small breed dog. A medium breed dog weighs between 30lb. - 65lb. so this harness is a size small.

It might be mislabeled or that company's medium size. The description you gave tells me it will not fit a medium size dog. If it did I would get it and I mean no offense by my comment.

I don't think the clothing size has anything to do with breed size. My Chihuahua is a toy-size breed, but wears a size small. I guess sort of like a size 4T doesn't mean the kid is 4, it's just a size. I buy a lot of LuluPink clothes for my dogs and so does my friend. I think it's more of a "measurement" size, than a "breed" size.

I have always been confused by the sizes of the pet clothing myself. My dogs are both toy-breeds, but the "toy" sized clothing is WAY too small for my doggies. It took me forever to figure out the sizes. My babies wear between sizes, which is even harder! An XS is too tight, while a S is too big! So frustrating!!! LOL I apologize if I seemed a bit upset. I have had the flu, and have been dealing with some grumpy people. Lol. My friend has 3 chi's, but 2 are mixed breeds and are bigger than the 1 pure-breed she has, so she has equal difficulty with the clothing issue. My husband's Rottie is another story all together! I have to make his clothes. We still haven't figured out the sizes for him. We have to take him to try-on clothes if we buy them! Lol

It's cool. I tend to have trouble finding a harness for my girl because I want a girly pink one for her but the stores where I live seem to constantly be sold out every time I look, I really want to be able to make sure the harness fits her and take it back if it doesn't.

This measures 16" circumfrence around "waist", 13" circumfrence around neck, and the leg openings measure 10 1/2" around.
