do you need a floppy with the cd in oder for this to operate and and work? or will it just boot from the cd? Thanks< I fanned am watching this auction.

Most older PC's will still boot on CD (or you can change it in the BIOS so it does -

Every microsoft cd comes with a security cd key code only works with it. so what good is this cd with out the cd key code is it on the package its in ?????

Any 98 install key works, they are not CD specific

You need the CD key to install it -but as I mentioned ANY 98 1st edition key will work - They are not CD specific

@GOLDNSTAR There are uses for the install CDs even without the code. What if someone had the code already, but their CD got damaged and they needed to do a re-install? Or if they had the floppy disk version with a code, but no longer have a working floppy drive?
