The listing, Very Rare Historic 1831 USA Large "Coronet / Matron One Cent" *184 Year Old Coin -Type 1* has ended.

The winner of my auction will win This Very RARE, 184 Year old, 1831 American Large One Cent. The Canadian penny is just in the pictures as a size comparison,

This Outstanding Historic coin which is also called a "Coronet / Matron One Cent" has seen it's fair share of years as you can see, So please judge the coin for yourself and remember it is 184 years old and this coin in just fine condition, has been sold for over $565.00, but like I said this coin is not in very fine condition!

This is still a great Coin for all collectors!

I did my best to provide good enough pictures at all angles to get the date seen as well as you can, but the 18 is hard to see! Once you get the coin in hand you know right away it say's 1831 on the date,

On one side of this coin is Bust facing left with 13 stars surrounding, and the date below, with the
Lettering - LIBERTY - 1831

On the other side is the Lettering:
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ONE CENT
This Beautiful coin was Created by the Engraver - Robert Scot ou John Reich.

I hate this comment section. I normally don't post on it, however I think everyone should read this. I have contacted Listia and asked for it to be removed, handled as Ebay does, posted by discretion of the lister. They pretty much blew me off. Maybe if we, as a collective group, lets them know it's crap then maybe it can be changed. I like your coin, btw, and am watching.

I just read the comment above about rude people. I can't believe what happened to me today. I was going to do the gin on an item but the description was sort of vague so I asked a question about the item and she answered me back and told me in ALL CAPS to 'read the description'. Then she blocked me. LOL. Can you believe that? Anyway, I know I am off topic, sorry. I really love this coin. I don't see how you can let it go. It was my Grandfathers he passed away some years ago and I held on to some of his boxes and other things and this coin was in one of the boxes with some other great coins and I love coins, I didn't even know I had this till just a few weeks ago :)
