this is a Sanyo Katana cell phone as you can see in the first pic. its still in the orginal box,the second picture it is metallic pink ,in the third pic. shows you how slim it is,the fourth pic. shows all the accerories that comes with it the fifth pic. shows the book you read first and the instruction book comes with it also,and in the six pic. it shows another little cord with it which I never did use and I don,t know what its for and the seventh pic. shows the charger for this phone and it does come with the battery, this is a ultra slim profile, it has a built-in digital camera ,it has bluetooth wireless technology and two way sms text messaging,this phone is in great condition ,no scratches,no scares,no nothing now this will be sent out the first or third of Nov. and sorry I can not ship outside the USA! Thank you!

Questions & Comments

Those are the connections from the battery to the phone. Can you see any tiny slots near the battery or along the outside edge of the phone. That is where you will find the spot where it will take a small memory card...in theory anyway.

ok hun! on each side of the phone is:on the left side is for the charger and on the right side is for your headphones now in back when you take the battery out you can see at the bottom is the little things that connects to the battery and up above that is the two little dots and a diamon shape which is for is beyond me but when you take the back off and turn the back over there is a toll free # there to call I,m sorry I couldn,t be no more help then this but a do not see a slot for a sim card

Okay, if this Katana is in the LX series, (which it looks like it is) the phone is loaded with features and is compatible with Sprint-Nextel, either month to month plans or a regular contract plan. Apparently it works with only a very small network of carriers. Now, to the battery. Since I am unable to read the exact model name, the following is generalized for the Katana 1x. On the right side of the phone there should be a camera key on top of a flexible flap, under that should be a headset jack and a place for a microSD card. This phone supposedly does not use a SIM card. Feel free to correct any of this, maybe info specific to this phone?

it is loaded with features but I don,t know anything about Sprint or Nextel all I know my daughter got it thur Embarq it does have a camera key on the right side but it does not have a place for a micro SD card

Does the manual have any info about memory or sim cards and where they might go? Usually in manuals they have a picture near the front of the manual showing a diagram of the phone with each part labeled...does this one? That would be the quickest and easiest way to find out. Oh, wait! Let me go google it. ;-P

it does have a pic. of the phone and it is showing all the parts labeled but it does not show anything about the card

Sprint along with t-mobile and WalMart, have developed a month to month plan, ($25, $40, $60 all with unlimited texting, email, and data, gotta watch your talk minutes though)...anyway if this phone is a sprint or t-mobile compatible phone, make sure you, yourself checks to make sure. It is pretty easy, google the major carriers, minor carriers and the month to month carriers, (almost always the minor and month to month carriers will show up on the major carriers websites). Go to Ask.com if the google search doesn't give you the answers you need. Just a general note....everyone that bids on an electronic device, computers, cameras, and cellphones should do the research on the item, before posting even a question, as well as to read ALL the comments before posting one yourself, your answer may already be there. =)
