So cute! I have a little boy, but since it needs a cover the design doesn't really matter. =) I see you are in Sarasota... I lived in Venice for the past 8 years up until about 11 months ago. Such a beautiful place, we just couldn't afford to live there anymore with the new baby =(

the diaper should not need a cover unless you have a super heavy soaker. The outer shell could actually be used as a cover itself. A fitted with a fleece cover is awesome for overnight! :)
