Douglas Aircraft Company DC-9, I took this photo in 1989 at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport in Minnesota. Over the last 28 years, I have been a volunteer at The Minnesota Air National Guard Museum for 28 years. The Museum has been in existence for 31 years. I am one of four volunteers who have been around the museum for more than 25 years. I was never active duty military due to my asthma. I have studied aviation and military history for the last 40 + years since I was a freshman at a military high school U.S. Army Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps. 99.9% of our volunteers are retired military and they consider me to be a walking encyclopedia.
