The winner of this auction will receive the civil war era 1865 Three Cent Piece shown the attached photos. The coin is in good condition; all details, lettering and date can be clearly seen. This coin may have been a metal detector find because it does has light surface pitting. Years buried in the earth and exposure to soil acids probably explain the. Still, it is a decent looking coin. I recently purchased a better grade one so I am letting this one go. If you do not have one of these or you are a civil war collector, here’s your chance to pick a decent one up at a lower price.
