This is really fun. It has a variety of different light patterns when you press the button. It works on Alkaline Button Pack Batteries - I order mine through Amazon from China and I can get about 100 of them for less than $3.00 (that way you always have back-up's).

This is also a neat children's toy to give with Adult Supervision. I just gave one to a neighborhood 2-year-old and he loved it! Of course I asked his parent's first and they were there with him.

It has 4 different colors - red, green blue and purple - that look like a variety of colors when they are pulsating quickly at at-least 4 different patterns. These are fun, but make sure you have the lights off the first time you turn it on, or you will think it's a dud (and it's not!).

The pictures don't do it justice because you can't see it flashing and the colors don't show as differentiated in the dark or light. It really is a cool item for very little money that will last a long time if you don't drop it - and it does have a wrist strap.
