The first photo is the actual canceled stamps. The second is a stock photo. it's hard to get a decent photo from my camera.

My husband and I have come across a collection of used stamps. I'm sure it's going to take me some time to get through all of the boxes. If you have any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.

I inherited a collection of stamps from my mother, I have tons of stamps and the only way I could organize them was to put them in zip-lock snack sized bags and to identify them using a stamp catalog. I labeled them with name of stamp and #. There might be a more official way to do this but I worked for me. It's both more educational and more time-consuming than you might think. Even old stamps aren't worth a lot, I'm sure there are exceptions. Hope this helps. Brenda
