Description

The listing, "FULL LIBERTY" 1915-D Almost Uncirculated Silver Barber Quarter has ended.

This auction is for an ALMOST UNCIRCULATED 1915-D SILVER BARBER QUARTER. This is the next to last year of the Barber Quarter and tough to find with the FULL LIBERTY and just the slight trace of wear that is on this coin.
The scans above are of the actual item that you will receive, and are provided for you to determine the condition and/or grade of it.
I never clean or alter coins in any way, and do my best to allow you to see every detail and/or every blemish that the coins I list have, so that you can make an informed and confident bid.
I am no longer accepting GIN offers for my auctions, everyone now gets a shot at bidding.
Be sure to check out all of my other auctions that always run on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday.
The winner will receive this via FREE SHIPPING W/Tracking.
Remember that all Listia rules apply.

Most of you know that I have been adding a rider to all of my auctions, stating that the post office is no longer reliable enough to get anything delivered in a timely manner and I wish that this was not necessary.
The post office has been off and on again when it comes to shipping lately and First Class Shipping has been making it to its destination within 1 week, and then the next few are not being scanned for days for some reason. I just want you to know beforehand that this will be sent the next available day after auction end, but I have no control over it after I do drop it off.
Thank you for your interest in my auctions and stopping by to view them.

I know that you do not mean that you think this one has been cleaned. this coin is actually been put up for a long time and does not show any of the signs at all of being cleaned. one day I should go try and find the site that I was once showed that shows off all the signs of a cleaned coin with some excellent pictures for all to actually know what a cleaned coin looks like, it was very informative. then find a cleaned coin to list here with that site in the description for all to learn something new.
thanks for your interest in this auction

usually if they have any circulation wear they have that dark grey between the letters & leaves, this one has nice details but no tarnish!

there really are so many different ways of telling what grade a coin is, and even more that does not usually get listed or divulged to collectors to help them out. I really wish that I could remember the name of the site that I saw all of the ways that coins get graded and tricks in doing so. most of it was magnification and detail listing, but far more than what get listed in any book or on any site to tell grades by looking at the coins.

LOL, sorry I never implied the coin was cleaned! It's a real beauty! Every coin I won from you has come through with speedy secure safe packaging! Your one of my top three coin sellers! I would look into the buyers feedback on any lost6 packages before I blame our gov-ment workers! lol, just saying....

I just thought of it, but if I had her phone number, I could have quite a few coins that would also come with a COA :)

I'll bid high if you can guaranty that you will ship this quarter to me priority mail, if I should win. A flat rate priority envelope is $5.75
Dec 7th, 2015 at 7:32:00 PM PST by
Original
how about this... I use priority for extremely high dollar items, and lately have been using it if bids go over 350K, otherwise it will go out first class w/tracking in a 5X7 bubble envelope like everything else.

Have tracking put on it I started using stamps. Com I am able to keep up with everything I send and put tracking on it and its cheaper.
Dec 7th, 2015 at 7:27:35 PM PST by
Original
I had the post office just add the stamps needed and paid for tracking 1 time with 3 items because it was so much cheaper. all 3 were returned or would not be delivered stating that there was postage due. it is also the 1st and only negative review that I received because of trying that. be careful what you think that you can get away with, sometimes the postal worker has no idea what is allowed and not.

Dec 7th, 2015 at 3:49:58 PM PST by

I can not promise anything any longer, and insurance is supposed to pay me not get you the item, even though the post office will do every last thing that they can to not have to pay a thing.
If you wish, I can get a price on sending this to you with UPS or FedEx, that way you will get it.
