Questions & Comments
Original
This doll is a Living Skipper that was manufactured and sold from 1970 - 1973. She was also obtainable through a promotional trade in offer that Mattel had at the time. She has bendable knee's and swivel hips. Her arms are rubbery and have joints in the shoulders, wrists and also the elbow's. Unfortunately the elbow joints are most always broken, thus hampering the value. The date found on this doll is the copyright date, not the date she was made. Her hair is actually a brassy blonde in person. Although she is considered a vintage 'Mod Era' Barbie doll, she is quite common and not very sought after in comparison to earlier Japan made vintage Barbie's. Biggest factor is condition of the doll when considering value. Hope this helps the seller out as well as potential bidders.

You're welcome. :D After I wrote that I feared that someone would think I was being bossy or a 'know it all'.. it's just what i do for a living.. if someone out here is a Skipper Collector and can restore her / reroot her, she would be great! :D

PS... the outfit is called Dreamy Blues #1456 (1970). This one is very well played with. This doll also has an obvious hair cut. Here is a link to what this doll is if anyone needs to reference her.
