African Black Soap has been used for centuries to nourish skin with vitamins & minerals, & to help deep cleanse & exfoliate dead layers of skin.

✪✪ Use
Use anytime of the day...all over body &/or parts of body.
Helps with damaged skin, chronic eczema, oily skin, acne, freckles, & dark spots.
Improves skin texture, appearance & tone.
Helps hyper pigmentation when used along with exfoliation.
Can improve fine wrinkles with use over time.

✪✪ Ingredients
Palm oil, cocoa pods, plantain skins, kernel oil, water, Glycerin, Shea Butter

✪✪ Directions
Lather as if you're using commercial soap...Can be used on hair as well!

African Black Soap is mild but also potent & depending on your skin needs, might be best used 2-4 days a week to prevent over drying. If you are using twice a day & get over dry, cut back to once a day, etc.
Use moisturizing soaps or agents in between your use of ABS (coconut oil, shea butter, etc.).

It is important to apply with a soft cloth, facial brush or bath brush as these natural soaps may retain solid bits that may bruise if rubbed directly onto the skin; some folks liquify the soap by sitting it into some water & then lather it on with a shower puff.

✪✪ Storage
This soap is soft yet firm enough to hold shape — so you can cut & form it into smaller "to use now” sections.
It lasts for a long time, so store the remaining parts (or whole parts you are not yet using) in a sealed container or baggie to keep moisture away.
Sealed Raw ABS can be stored for a year or more with great results!

Please look at the pictures & make sure this will fit & work with your project or intended use before you place your bid.

Did you make this? If so did you use essential oil?

You can't really duplicate African Black Soap, you could take similar ingredients away from the source and try to mix them but it would not be the same as what they make because their environment and methods contribute very important bulk material to the soaps, and also they are fresh from the source. We buy it in large bulk and then divide it down in smaller portions but do not change it. Originally for just our own use and gifting to friends -- just decided to put some on Listia, and we have run thru about 40 bars.

Ingredients are already in the listing.
I would not add to the ingredients as then it would not be the same recipe "the traditional". Basically, if it is a good soap already, adding other things is not a good idea. I see where some folks have done that -- usually one addition or the other will be counter to the original intention of the soap (such as aloe that many people are allergic to).

Within the listing I already covered a lot of this -- appreciate your interest.
