I don't believe that's a mouse? Digital Convergence came out with Cue Cat that would read bar codes, but it didn't take off and the web site was shut down. If you go www.digitalconvergence.com there is an explanation. That doesn't mean it's useless if you know how to hack stuff like that...I have one I want to try to hack!

thanks for the info. I have the whatever it is the cd and just found the book to it also.. I got it for a joke for my sister who loves the cats... but if i cannot figure it out, neither will she be able to... so its here for the takin... just want it out of my storage and getting rid of anything I don't use or know how to use
