Questions & Comments
I would bid but you must send rings wrapped in bubble wrap inside bubble envelopes. The postal sorter will destroy the ring if it's in a plain white envelope.
You lucked out if you sent rings in white envelopes before. I received one today in a USPS apology envelope. The envelope is inside with a tear in it and no ring. I can't tell you how many disputes I've filed over this. I've lost count.
USPS ignores 'non-machinable' indicators because you've used a letter envelope. The envelopes are processed as if they are letters. The sorter either will or will not tear up the ring. I have received a few successfully, although I've had to repair some.
In the long run, you won't save postage. Your winner will dispute if it happens and you will have to refund the credits.
