Obsidian has been used for centuries as a tool of protection to sustain health and support livelihood. It is one of the most powerful stones (in crystal work) to combat any negativity surrounding it. Obsidian promotes the focus of intent and sharpens concentration by clearing away all that is unnecessary or unwanted. It has a very grounding effect to enable a stronger connection with the Earth and our inner wisdom. I have one sitting next to my computer that I use for work. I swear by it. We are constantly being inundated with negative messages throughout the day that change our moods, can shift our beliefs and alter our decision making. Sometimes outside influences can distract us from our intuition, causing us to get off course by making mistakes in judgment. Obsidian (particularly in the form of a sphere) eliminates the cloudiness of bad decision making by creating room for the new possibilities we didn't see before and the positive experiences we have been asking for all along. I do a lot of work with crystals and use them daily. Obsidian is by far one of my top 3 favorites because of it's effectiveness.
I will ship the asap and with tracking. It would make a great gift for the holidays. It's brand new and in perfect condition. The pictures above are of the my Obsidian ball. It measures 40mm or approx. 1.5in in diameter. When sitting on the stand it is almost 2in tall. Thank you reading :)

well, I can't say that it's a cure-all for a person's feelings of general discontent, but it would help to break up the cycle of thinking and behaviors that bring on the negative outlook. I don't know if that helps or not. it can definitely help and influence you into the desired direction that you'd like to see yourself in, but it can't "fix" anything.

jackbalck....thanks for the chuckle. I know it was not nice to laugh at you, but just exactly how you put the words....lol. If your new to stones or the higher power, suggest to do some research, you'll find lots of positive about obsidian. You can also find books or stores to get beginners if you are not familiar or just want to brush up, plus I am sure if you messaged Phoenixnah would be happy to give you some advice or pointers for directions providing you are serious about it. Are you supposed to do something with it or does it just have to be present to reduce negativity? I dont know much about how people use these crystals so i would love for you to enlighten me

that is a VERY loaded question. it's a great question, but I don't have the room to answer all of it accurately. there are numerous ways to use stones when doing Crystal Work. finding out which one resonates with you personally is really the key. I'll post a couple of websites under Updates that should help give you a better idea. personally, I don't necessarily do anything special with mine but cleanse it every month under the full moon by simply leaving it outside in a bowl of water and a bit of sea salt mixed in. that's it. the stones know what do to without us even interfering. but- they can be used for specific things and in specific ways, so i'll find some websites that should help
