It's a metro phone. You can take any phone & have it turned on. there is no "is it clear for activation". A metro phone is ALWAYS clear for activation, so that person reporting this auction is a dumba**

Well, as a CURRENT metro pcs account holder, I can confidently say that metro will activate phones regardless of the serial numbers. There is NO need whatsoever to check them, bc Metro doesn't care! You just get whatever deactivated phone you want, dial *229 on it, and you can have your number and account switched to that phone. I see absolutely no reason for her to have flagged you, as yes, the only way it can NOT be activated is if it's reported stolen! You'd already made her mad, so regardless of feedback, there's no way for you to know if she planned on just reporting it stolen as a form of payback! I haven't bid yet only because of the length of time left on it. When it gets near end, so long as I have the credits, you'll have my bid. My fiance needs this BAD!!!!

anyone can activate it in their name if you stopped paying all u have to do is call and cancell your account with metro and the next person will be able to activate it the same day or they jus have to wait till the billing cycle is over i have metro now and i work for them so it not that difficult for someone to do. so to make it easy jus call metro and cancell you account on that fone and it will be ready to go

that would be a micro sd card :) unfortunately, I won't need to bid on this now, my fiance's brilliant self let his phone sit in a mop bucket for an hour at work last night, so we had to go spend our last 60 bucks today to get him a phone-this very one acutally (well, freeform3). BUT, I did ask the guy in the Metro store about checkin serial numbers on phones prior to getting, and chick still freaked for no reason, cause he said calling with the serial number does no good whatsoever bc they can't tell you jack until you actually activate it. said the only way they won't activate it is if it's been reported stolen, and again, can't tell unless you actually activate it on your account. so there's no way to find out anything about a metro phone's status without the thing in your hand and putting your service on it if you already have an account. so good luck with your auction, and to the bidders, my fiance LOVES this phone! it works awesome, the volume on them is loud, and call quality is great, so whoever wins this will have an awesome phone! I'd get it for myself, but he's getting me the admire android phone with a butterfly case for my bday this month! :)

and hah, i tried to respond to the email the girl sent me a few days ago with the info i got from metro guy at the store, and she's blocked me too! i'm guessing she can, and still does read the comments on this since she messaged me a couple days after she blocked you, so to TOPANGA- you flipped out for no reason. even if this young lady had given you the meid/esn numbers, you wouldn't have been able to find out the status of the phone without actually having it and adding service to it! So you have acted like a fool for no reason whatsoever, and apparently Listia was aware of this fact, since they have allowed this perfectly legitimate auction to continue! All you succeeded in doing was making yourself look like a jerk, and probably lose a lot of prospective bidders. And if you're going to send someone a message, at least have the gumption to allow them to respond to you instead of contacting them, wasting the time they spent reading your message which was a repeat of what you already said here! How ridiculous. I have a feeling that anyone who saw your childish behavior here, will NOT be bidding on your auctions, meaning you could miss out on quite a bit of credits as well as the chance to interact with some amazing people! Know your facts before you make stupid assumptions...because we all know what happens when you ASSUME things! :) Sorry FabiioLa, I had to say something! hrm...email listia and link to this auction so they can see what the problem was. it probably got through without much super careful scrutiny to some flag list. but if it's giving trouble to bid, why wouldn't they simply delete it and make you start over? if they do wind up deleting it, i'd re-list it (with less days :D) and put a big, bold disclaimer in the listing description stating that you will NOT give the phone's ID numbers out over the www unless it is in a personal message to the winner. and that then if they get told something screwy by metro, you can call them yourself and find out what the prob is. but at least then you have credits and they have to have some supremely legit reason to get the refund to go through!
