Up fro grabs are some of the seed pods off of my Lilac bushes. They were here when I moved in and from the height(at least 6 foot), they have been here for quite some time. Beautiful purple mounds of blossoms that just send out loads of fragrance every spring. I didn't get a pic of my lilacs b/c I didn't think they would seed, but they did, so I found one that looks exactly like what mine do. The seed pic is also exactly like what you will receive.

These seed pods need scarification if you can't pop the seed out of the pod, I tried to pick them so that you can. After either popping them out or scarring them, they need cold stratification. Just put them in some damp paper towels and pop them in the refrigerator for 60 or so days. After the cold, just plant them about 1/4" deep and keep moist.
