I used these codes to pay for my Hulu+ for 2 1/2 years. I just upgraded my account to commercial free and it won't work with that type of account.

I was using these to pay for my Hulu+ account for the last 2 1/2 years. I upgraded to commercial free and it doesn't work for that.

Do u need a credit card to start with are u obligated to continue after the month ends

I don't know about the credit card. You do not have to continue after the month. I believe they are also offering a free 30 or 14 day trial.
