Description

The listing, Multi-Blooms White Trout Lily -7 Seeds has ended.

Pacific NW Multi-Blooms White Trout Lily seeds. The first auction went so well, and the demand is there, not to mention a good harvest this year! Im offering up the remains of the seeds in increments of 7 seeds. In addition I will send you a package of fertilizer and a 4 sheet document with information about these beauties that includes their history, rowing requirements. Desc. Its seed harvest time for these beautiful and self naturalizing lilies! I started with one lily that I didn't even know was hidden in some moss I brought back from my secret glen in the Nisqually valley, two days before easter morning this amazing lily bloomed! In the mornings the blooms raise their faces to greet the sun and in the evening bow their heads and close up all cozy in the moonlight! Within three years I have a beautiful white trout lily river that runs through my back yard! When the bloom withers an amazIngly tall and bright green seed pod stands tall and suddenly bursts! You can either let them naturalize with the shifting of the elements or gather them and plant them where you wish them to be. One thing for certain they are a beautiful reminder that spring and Easter have arrived and they are hardy plants requiring no help to continue bursting out beautiful year after year! See comments for more inf and ssurprses!

These seed require special handling before storing or shipping directly after harvested as this lily does not survive transplant of the mother plant! So harvesting, proper handling, and packaging for another auction listing in the future. We had an amazing field of over 100 single to quad blooms on each plant this year! If you follow the planting instructions to the tee, or if you havw quetions email me, then you will have a most beautiful river or scattered or cluster (depending on your planting preference) each and every year that multiplies by itself right around Easter time with blooms that last for nearly 2 months. Im excite to say that with some seed planting intervention these lillies will form the aisle for my son:s bride to pass down towards his committed heart on their wedding day!

NEW ALERT FOR UPCMING PS: Ever seen or heard of a Cockateal Beonia? I also have a mother plant and its almost time to start cuttings from her! Enough show and interest I too shall put them up for auction!

Does it thrive in wet or dry climates?

In both/all climates! I just send some to ohio and can wait to hear how they do there! I belong to a friendship garden club and at last count Ive sent ti and have had success in 32 states. The only state that didnt work was in Arizona but the dearheart didnt follow the directions for planting etc. The most important thing is the planting, as before the plants dont transplant at all. Ive tried everything Its all done by seed propigation either natural or by hand using the instructions Ill send along. so far my trout lilies are the only ones Ive seen that produce as many as five blooms which turn into seed pods thus far. Most trillium or this genus only produce one flower and pod per plant each year. The plant itself digs in and remains to produce annually, the pods burst and you can either harvest to share or store the seeds or just let them grow where they land! In the morning they open their blooms to the sunlight and in the evening they close up to look like a little white fairy tear drop!
